As political activities ahead of the 2027 presidential election gather momentum, supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are taking the campaign directly to communities in Ondo State with a major grassroots mobilisation expected to begin on Tuesday.

The mobilisation will see Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, receive Niger Delta leader, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, during the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s Ondo State structure at Democracy Park, Akure.

The event, scheduled for noon, will also feature the distribution of campaign vehicles and mobilisation materials to strengthen the group’s outreach across the state.

Southwest Coordinator of the movement, Orisamoluwa Adekunle, said the programme marks another step in expanding grassroots support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

According to him, the campaign will focus on taking the President’s message directly to residents through door-to-door engagement while highlighting the administration’s programmes and achievements.

Adekunle said the campaign vehicles and materials would enable volunteers and mobilisers to reach more communities across Ondo State.

He added that the inauguration would bring together APC leaders, grassroots coordinators and supporters to strengthen collaboration and improve mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.

Adekunle described the programme as a reflection of the movement’s commitment to promoting President Tinubu’s vision of a prosperous and united Nigeria.

He said Governor Aiyedatiwa’s planned reception for Tompolo further demonstrates the growing cooperation among key stakeholders working to build support for Tinubu’s second-term bid.

The coordinator called on members of the All Progressives Congress and supporters of the President to attend the event and participate in the grassroots mobilisation.

He added that the movement would continue its door-to-door campaign across Ondo State as it seeks to expand voter engagement and strengthen support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
