Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has welcomed 351 newly commissioned officers into the Nigerian Air Force and urged them to serve the nation with courage, discipline and professionalism.
The officers were among the 965 cadets who graduated during the Nigerian Defence Academy’s Combined Passing Out Parade, marking the start of their military careers.

Aneke said their commissioning is more than a promotion, describing it as a solemn responsibility to defend Nigeria and uphold the values of the Nigerian Air Force.
He encouraged the new officers to continue improving their professional skills while serving with integrity, loyalty and dedication.
The Air Chief reminded them that they are joining a proud military tradition committed to protecting the country and delivering effective air power alongside other security services.
He also challenged the officers to translate the knowledge and training acquired at the academy into operational success in support of Nigeria’s security efforts.
