Passengers travelling between Jos and Abuja may soon spend less time waiting for vehicles as VALGEE Transport Services Limited has added more buses to its fleet.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Liberty Makwin, announced the expansion on Wednesday during the unveiling of the new Toyota Sienna vehicles in Jos.
He said many of the new vehicles would operate on the busy Jos–Abuja route to meet the growing number of travellers.

Makwin said the company took the decision because more passengers now rely on the route for business, work, school and other activities.
He explained that the additional vehicles would improve booking, departure times and vehicle availability.
“A substantial number of the new vehicles will be deployed on the Jos–Abuja route, reflecting our strategic importance to the company’s operations,” he said.
Makwin said the company was also improving its booking system and vehicle coordination to make travel easier for passengers.
He noted that reliable transport is more than moving people from one place to another.

“Our focus has always been on building a transport service passengers can depend on,” he said.
He added that the company was strengthening its capacity and improving its systems to meet passengers’ expectations as demand continues to grow.
The additional vehicles are expected to give travellers more transport options, especially during periods of high demand.
The expansion comes as interstate travel between Jos and Abuja continues to increase, prompting transport operators to invest in better services and improve passenger confidence.
